EDIT
PEOPLE ASK ME TO PUT THINGS TOGETHER.
Being an editor is interesting. You're the last person (more or less) to affect a project; you make it all come together or tear it apart.
I'd like to believe one of the reasons why people continue to hire me as an editor is because of my experience in all aspects of production – I'm able to recognize the "it" factor on a particular take, shot, design element, etc.
However, it all comes back to storytelling. When I string together hours of interview footage or simply cut pieces of footage together to a script, I'm constantly striving to be the best storyteller I can be.
Below you'll find some of my favorite stories I've had the honor of telling.
